Building a Civilization of love: A Catholic Response to Racism. 9:00 - 10:30am

From Slave to Priest: The Life & Legacy of Fr. Augustine Tolto. 11:30am - 12:00pm

Born into a black Catholic slave family, Father Augustine Tolton (1854-1897) conquered almost insurmountable odds to become the first black priest in the United States. He left behind a shining legacy of holy service to God, the Church and his people. In this powerful presentation, Catholic speaker, evangelist and Father Tolton scholar Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers’ eloquent tribute to Father Tolton’s tremendous legacy and courage, in the face of incredible prejudice within the Church and society, will be a source of strength and inspiration for Catholics today.

Behold Your Mother: The Marian Heart of Suffering - Followed by Q&A Session. 1:00 - 2:00pm

Mary is the perfect disciple of the Lord who was filled with the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35), and who always leads us to her Son.
